LUSAS at Brobyggardagen 2011

We joined the delegates and other exhibitors at Brobyggardagen 2011, held at Svenska Mässan in Göteborg on 31st January 2011.  

It provided myself, my colleague Steve Rhodes, and our Swedish Distributor, Miroslaw Chamera with good networking opportunites and gave us a very useful insight into the current and future requirements of all the bridge engineers that we talked to.

• Recent releases of LUSAS have seen the introduction of new pre-cast box section property calculators, multiple varying section facilities, user-defined results capabilities, vehicle load optimisation extended to include Eurocode traffic loading, and further improvements to the IMDplus and Rail Track Analysis software options to benefit those involved in High Speed Rail and Light Rail infrastructure projects.

• We informally discussed other new facilities and improvements that are planned for future LUSAS software releases and listened to, and will report back on any bridge analysis, design or load-rating issues or requirements that our clients advised us of.
