Typical warning message from LUSAS Solver text output file (*.OUT):
***WARNING*** ONE OR MORE NON-ZERO EIGENVALUES WERE COMPUTED WITH ERROR NORM GREATER THAN 0.10E-03
: USE THESE MODES WITH CAUTION (EIGOUT PROCESSOR)
Most common causes & links to solutions
The warning regarding the error norm could be addressed by tightening the
"Tolerance for successive eigenvalues". Usually tightening the tolerance will also require an increase in the maximum allowable number of iterations. Both can be adjusted by clicking the
Advanced button in the Eigenvalue Control.

estimate
Note
A different error norm for the first Eigenvalue when solving for the first
few Eigenvalues only, compared to solving for the first 10 is
expected because the iteration process will have been different between the two runs. For more Eigenvalues, more iterations would be expected in an attempt to achieve solutions for all of them that fall within the tolerance specified. If you look at the Output File (extension .out) in a Text Editor such as Notepad, you can see the iteration process in full with the error norm for each Eigenvalue at each iteration.
