Relocating Windows temporary files
You can relocate
temporary files just for LUSAS Modeller and Solver using the
Configuration Utility. The
Windows temporary files for all applications can be relocated as
follows:
- For Windows XP and earlier go to
Start > Control Panel > (double click) System icon >
Advanced tab > (click) Environment variables button
- For Windows 7 go to Start > Control Panel > (double click)
System icon > Advanced system settings
> (click) Environment variables button
- For Windows 8 and 8.1 in Windows
Search select Settings (Windows Key + W) and
search for “Environment variables”, then click on a
suitable search result to edit them for your user account or
for the system (all user accounts)
Create "New..." or
"Edit" exisitng "TMP" and "TEMP" variables field, giving a suitable
disk drive and folder in the value field. Click the "OK" button
to implement the changes.
